New Covid XEC Variant was rather noticed in Germany back in June and has currently been identified in 15 nations around the globe, according to The Mirror.
The new anxiety is a mixture of the KS.1.1 and KP.3.3 variants.
Doctor Eric Topol, head of the Scripps Research Translational Institute in California, expressed the XEC strain was “just acquiring begun” and was “absolutely taking charge” as the prevailing variant.
Dr Topol, articulating to the Los Angeles Times, stated: “(It’s) going to take multiple weeks, a couple months, before it grabs hold and begins to cause a wave.”

Latest Covid Figures in the UK
The most delinquent COVID-19 data removed by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) revealed a 4.3% spike in patients, but a decline in the number of deaths from the virus.
Weekly stats (up to September 4) revealed the number of COVID-19 patients had risen – 1,587 recorded.
While 102 deaths were recorded (in the week up to August 30), which was down 20.9% (27) from the prior week.
The number of patients revealed to hospitals with the virus was even down by 6.6% to 1,465.
