The home of retired rugby star Scott Hastings has stated. They are “very heartbroken” behind his wife, Jenny Hastings, ran missing tracking a swim.
Ms. Hastings fell to produce after running swimming in Wardie Bay in Edinburgh on Tuesday, they stated. Counting that Jenny had “worked with her mind health for many years”.
The family stated in a comment. “It’s with tremendous sorrow that we write to inform you that Jenny is headed for a swim. In the Firth of Forth on the noon of 3 September 2024. That is Tuesday, and that the happening is being feted by the authority as a high-risk away person case.”
It resumed: “The Hastings home is heartbroken.
“Jenny and Scott have a massive following of buddies from all strolls of life. Including those that operate in the media and we request that at this point, we are entitled to grieve personally with family partners.”

“For the moment being we ask that you have off from messaging us instantly and/or publishing on any social media until additional news.
“We understand that you all watch for us extremely and as soon as we receive any update from the authority we will inform you therefore.
“We skip our Jenny. She goes a gaping void in all our souls and expects that she is produced to us safely so that we can praise her wonderful life”.
The message is marked “Scott, Daniel, Corey, Kerry-Anne & Ian”.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency expressed they obtained a “report of trouble” at approximately 2.45 pm. And a chopper, coastguard recovery groups, lifeboats, and other nearby ships took interest in a search.
But the investigation failed to discover anything, and was named off at 8.20 pm that night, the agency stated.
Hastings, 59, a retired Scottish international, bested 65 full headdresses at the post from 1986 to 1997 and is the more youthful brother of retired Scotland skipper Gavin Hastings.
He later transferred into broadcasting and performed for both Sky Sports and ITV.
